I'm having an invisible day. . .two days really. I have a lot of business things to take care of and I'm sending emails fast and furious to several people. And not getting replies.

In this world of instant gratification, it's hard to wait. I want to just keep pinging away with emails - CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? I know it's not my email server because I've sent out a few casual emails to friends, just to check, and they responded. Oops. If they're reading this, now they'll think I was just using them. Maybe they've heard that old adage - Friends aren't to be used and thrown away. . . They can be used over and over again. :)

So I wait. And write while I wait, as if I'm not waiting. Otherwise I'm too distracted to get the story on the page. One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 40: 31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

That makes it all worth the wait.
