Every once in a while the yearning hits. The strong desire to go home. Before you think I'm talking on a deep spiritual level right now, let me just say it. I want my MAMA! I've had some killer deadlines breathing down my neck, one right after another. And several booksignings in addition to those deadlines. As is often the way, I've sacrificed time with the people I knew would be the most understanding -- My parents. I don't even know how long it's been since I've been to their house (two hours away) but I do know it's been far too long. Tomorrow morning, the kids and I are going to spend a couple of days with Mama and Daddy. And I'm too excited to sleep! Whoever said you can't go home again has never been to my mama's house.

Next week, I'm back on a deadline, but for now, it's time to PLAY! I hope you enjoy the rest of this week and the weekend. Find a good book and kick back. Peace out!
