Thankfully, I can't tell you what happens when you have a booksigning and no one shows up. We had a steady flow of traffic at the Paragould Wal-Mart today. The sweet folks from Anderson Marketing (Hi, Bernie, Helen, and Chuck!) seated me front and center with a beautifully arranged table. Now I'm looking forward to next week at Batesville Wal-Mart.

I really enjoyed visiting with the Anderson Marketing folks. They were just so nice and seemed to genuinely care about me and my writing.

My little one has a headache tonight. I remember when I was young and had headaches. My dad would sit beside me with a cool rag and tell me Brer Rabbit stories. Off to try to remember those!
